Mary Ellen Coleman
Mary Ellen Coleman is a professional yoga teacher. Mary received her training through Laurel Hodory of Columbus, Ohio and The Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. She is the owner of Cherished Soul Yoga. Formerly, Mary Ellen was the Assistant Director of Yoga Teacher Training with Laurel Hodory and Faculty where she had the privilege to train some of Central Ohio’s best yoga teachers. Mary has done extensive training in yoga for emotional wellness including working with anxiety, trauma, depression and grief. She has also worked with individuals with traumatic brain injuries, neurological disorders, chronic illnesses and cancer. Mary provides support and encourage for all of her clients regardless of what challenge they may be facing. Mary’s primary goal is to take her clients back to feeling their best so that they can bring their best to the world.
Mary Ellen works with the non-profit, Trauma and Resiliency Resources, Inc. TRR, Inc’s Warrior Camp® Program is a 7-day residential treatment program for veterans and active duty military who suffer from PTSD, military sexual trauma, suicidality and moral injury. Mary Ellen has experienced profound healing through her practice of yoga and Ayurveda. She believes that yoga and Ayurveda hold the key to sustainable wellness in body, mind and spirit. In addition to being an experienced yoga teacher, Mary Ellen is also a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Playing Big Facilitator.
